Van stock control for installers
Scan a barcode, see what's on every van, and restock from the warehouse in seconds. My Van Stock is built for alarm, CCTV, access control, fire and network engineers.
Works on any phone. No app store download. Set up a van in minutes.
Engineers turn up to site without the right detector, PSU or cable. Someone drives back to the warehouse, or orders next-day from the wholesaler at full price. Nobody knows what's actually on each van until the yearly stock check, and by then the numbers don't add up.
My Van Stock gives every engineer and manager a live count of what's on each van, so you buy less, lose less and finish more jobs first time.
Use the phone camera to scan items on and off the van. No scanner hardware needed.
See exactly what each engineer is carrying, live, from the office or the road.
Engineers request stock in a few taps. The warehouse gets a clear pick list, and the engineer is emailed when it's ready.
The office moves parts between vans or from the warehouse on the day, and both counts stay right.
Every scan, request and transfer is logged, so you can see where stock went.
Your own logins, web address and brand colour for your team.

My Van Stock is made for UK companies running engineers on the road:
Track the kit you actually fit, from brands like Texecom, Pyronix, Paxton, Hikvision and Yuasa, supplied through wholesalers such as ADI and Mayflex.
Brand and wholesaler names describe the kind of stock you can track. My Van Stock isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them.
One plan with every feature. No hardware to buy. A one-off £150 setup fee covers your branded portal and getting your first vans live.
Your personalised branded portal, admin and vans set up for you.
1 admin, 3 vans, all features.
Add as many as you need, whenever you need them.
Example: a team with 6 vans pays £150 once, then £60 per month (£30 + 3 extra vans at £10).
No. Engineers use their phone camera to scan barcodes, or take a photo of the barcode. A USB or Bluetooth scanner also works if you have one.
Yes. It runs in the phone's browser and can be added to the home screen like an app. There's nothing to download from an app store.
Search for it by name or part number and pick it from the list. Engineers can also add new items as they go.
Yes. The office can move stock between vans or from the warehouse. Both counts update straight away and the move is logged in the history.
We set up your branded portal, admin and first vans for you. Adding more vans and engineers yourself takes a few minutes each.
Each company has its own private area and logins, kept separate by the database itself. Engineers only see their own van, and everyone sets their own password on first sign-in.
Tell us a little about your team and we'll get back to you to arrange a quick walkthrough, usually within one working day.
Open config.js and paste in your Supabase project URL and anon key. The README explains where to find them.

Add what you need and send it. The office is emailed straight away.
Pick a van to see what it's short of. Set the quantity each van should carry on the Stock tab. Loading a van moves the stock out of the store you pick.
Requests sent by engineers. Loading moves what the store has onto the van and closes the request.
Leave it at 0 to just add the product to the catalogue.
Export your order history or price list from the ADI or Mayflex website as CSV, then paste it here or choose the file. Columns headed description, part number or product code, barcode or EAN, brand or manufacturer, and cost or price are recognised. Existing products are updated by part number or barcode.
A kit is a standard list of items and minimum quantities, such as "Service van" or "Install van". Apply it to vans and their minimums are set in one go.
Only minimum quantities change. Nothing is booked onto or taken off a van; the Restock tab then shows what to load.
Enter their name to see their username. They'll be asked to choose their own password the first time they sign in.
Tick what each tier can do. Super Admins can always do everything. Changes apply the next time each person opens the app.
Your portal: . Logins are first.last@ behind the scenes; people only type first.last.
Use a wide logo on a white or clear background. It's resized to fit.
Alerts and stock requests go to the address above. Set each item's minimum on the Stock tab, including for the warehouse.
Super Admins and Admins always enter a code from an authenticator app when they sign in. Tick this to ask Users and Engineers too: each sets it up the next time they sign in.
